The Celia Jacobs Cheesecake Experience has created the combination of two of the best things in the world: desserts and food trucks. For cheesecakes that wow and prices that are right on, you may never be able to eat dessert anywhere else in Austin again.

The Cheesecake Experience

The first thing that you should know about Celia Jacobs’ is that the cheesecake isn’t full slices of cheesecake. Rather, the cheesecakes are more like cheesecake bites, although they’re sizable enough to still be satisfying, but not too big to overwhelm you. The second thing that you should know about this place is that the cheesecakes are amazing! Everyone who goes here absolutely loves it, and the cheesecakes are creamy, rich, flavorful, and downright mouthwatering. Really, Celia Jacobs provides dessert lovers with the best cheesecake in the state, hands down. And, the third thing that you should know is that rather than this cheesecake being served from behind the counter of a traditional dessert shop, it comes from a food truck.

The Flavor List

You’ll find more than just your traditional New York vanilla bean cheesecake here. Rather, the Cheesecake Experience offers 30 different flavors, ranging from your basic chocolate to the seasonal gingerbread. Top picks include the strawberry lemonade, the raspberry white chocolate, the pumpkin pie, the PB&J, and the winter spice. However, we’re not exaggerating when we say that every flavor is good. So good, in fact, that you’ll probably have to try them all. In addition to this, Celia Jacobs is working to develop gluten-free and vegan options for customers as well.

Great Flavor, Great Prices

Another thing that we absolutely love about this little food truck is the prices, which are absolutely perfect. Rather than paying $7 at a restaurant for a slice of cheesecake, why not head to the Celia Jacobs Cheesecake Experience for cheesecake bites that are priced at $3–you can even get two for less than you’d pay somewhere else!

Where to Find ‘Em

Celia Jacobs is located on South Capital, and the brightly painted hippie-style food truck isn’t hard to miss. Once you get there, there’s plenty of outdoor seating available, and they’re open every day with the exception of Mondays and Tuesdays, assuming the weather’s nice. The truck starts business at 11:00 AM and shuts down at 3:00 PM, only to then reopen for the dinner crowd from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the weekends, and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on weekdays.

Why You Should Go

The main reason that you should go is thus: depriving yourself of these cheesecake bites would be too cruel. If you fall in love with the Cheesecake Experience, you might want to consider having them cater your next event, or place an order for takeaway. Every day….
