If you’ve been searching for the perfect place to drink a signature beer that’s brewed from scratch while snacking on all your BBQ favorites, Uncle Billy’s Brewery and BBQ may become your new venue of choice. With great eats and a plethora of crafted beers, Uncle Billy’s is the perfect place to get together with a group for a fun night out.
The Beer Selection
The beer selection at Uncle Billy’s is superb, and you’ll find beers on tap ranging from the Green Room IPA to the Zicklel Weiss Hefeweizen. All of the signature beers are brewed from scratch, and are always served when they’re at their freshest. If you don’t like the beer here, you’re out of luck, because they don’t serve anything but their own brew.
The Smokehouse Eats
The food here is comforting and greasy, indulgent and filling—exactly what good bar food should be. To start, we recommend ordering an appetizer or two to share with your table—preferably the Redneck Road Kill, which consists of kettle chips, cheese, chopped beef, jalapenos, and pico de gallo, or the Pretzel and Sausage Board, which is pretty much exactly what it sounds like, plus sauerkraut and homemade beer mustard.
For your main dish, the brisket burger is one of the best things on the menu, and if you add smoked bacon and avocado ($1.00 each), you’ll be in heaven. The Brewben sandwich is also a favorite here, and is your choice of brisket or turkey with melted Swiss cheese, homemade sauerkraut, and Russian dressing all on rye bread.
Since this is a smokehouse, it’d be a shame to not at least try one of the traditional BBQ plates, like the famous pork ribs or the pulled pork. If you’re feeling healthy, there are a couple salad options available, too.
Lots of Puppy Love
Uncle Bill’s Brewery and BBQ is extremely dog friendly, and as such, the outdoor seating area is often teeming with pups of all sorts. While the majority of dog-lovers don’t mind, if you’re allergic or aren’t an animal person, you may prefer sitting indoors. However, if you have a four-legged friend, here’s a place that will open both of you with open arms.
Live Music on Fridays
Another reason to head to Uncle Billy’s, in addition to the great food and beer, is the live music that’s performed on Fridays. The bands constantly change, but they’re always entertaining to watch, and make for a fun evening that’s more exciting than watching TV at home. Oh, and on Tuesdays they also have live acoustic music and $3 pints.
