If you have a need for speed, but aren’t looking to truly race, you may want to check out SpeedZone in Dallas. It offers all the thrills of a real raceway with none of the octane and crashes. Great for adults and kids alike, there is something for everyone in the family at SpeedZone.

Routes to Race

If you’re looking for a high impact race with your friends and family, then try Thunder Road. If drift-racing is your thing, give Slick Trax a try. If you want to burn rubber against a few of your friends, then try the Top Eliminator Dragster. If you’re looking for more torque, Turbo Track is the closest thing to real racing without needing a driver’s license. And lastly, the little ones can enjoy Lil’ Thunder for pint-sized fun.

Exhausting the Need for Speed

Whiles it’s the carts, cars, and racing that really drives this attraction, if you’ve gotten in your fill of racing, there are a bunch of other things to do at SpeedZone as well. Other actives outside of racing include rides, games, and mini-golf.  Try your hand at bowling, check out Electric Alley for arcade games, or give yourself a bit of a thrill on the Fireball, a vertical looping roller coaster.

Johnny Rockets for Post-Racing Fuel

If you’ve spent a long day on the track or in the arcade, you may be getting a little hungry. And, what better accompanies the American pastime of car-racing than a very culturally American meal? At Johnny Rockets, the restaurant that is featured within the SpeedZone, you’ll find hamburgers, french fries, milkshakes, and more American food classics.

Race After Dark

If you’re really a thrill seeker, you’ll love the Race After Dark events that are featured Monday through Thursday. The promotion allows racers and gamers to get unlimited access to go-karts and mini-golf from the hours of 8 PM to midnight. The cost for Race After Dark is $34.99, and is a great way to spend a night with friends.
