The first thing that you should understand about Joystix Classic Games and Pinballs is that this is not, I repeat not, an arcade. Or so their website claims. Rather, it’s a place for all of the classic (and not so classic) arcade games. (We don’t get it either). Perfect for teenagers, gamers, or those who want to let loose and connect with their inner kid, Joystix Classic Games and Pinballs is a fun place for a weekend night or a Saturday afternoon.

Games Galore

This place is definitely appropriately named, as there are a plethora of great games avaible that are sure to entertain for hours. Games available for play include air hockey, basketball, darts, foosball, fortune teller, golf simulator, a jukebox, merchandiser, money machine, pin ball, ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, slot machines, video cocktail, video countertop, video shooting, video sit down, and video upright. There’s also a punching bag for those who need to release some steam after losing their favorite game.

Host a Party at Joystix

Whether you’re 16 or 46, hosting a party at Joystix can be a lot of fun for you and you’re friends – let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a day of playing games?? Plus, the party can be very grown up in theme, including something such as a Casino Night party theme for adults. During a casino night party, you can play black jack, poker, craps, and roulette with professional dealers, making for an awesome night. There’s also a full service lounge available for rental, complete with bar and plush seating. While it may seem like an arcade for kids on the surface, the reality of it is that Joystix actually provides a pretty classy space for adults who are wanting to do something slightly more elegant and refined.

And, the bar staff is great – they’ll keep your drinks full all night, make any cocktail requested, and are extremely professional and attentive. Pin ball and a beverage? Yes please.

A Fun and Inexpensive Night Out

For all you can play at Joystix, the price is only $15. Yep, $15 gets you as many games as you’d like all day (or night) long. The price is certainly worth it if you consider yourself to be a bit of a gamer, and with a bunch of different skeeball and pin ball machines, there’s plenty of room for everyone, so you’ll never be bored by not being able to find an open game.

Advice Before You Go

The biggest piece of advice for those who want to check out Joystix Classic Games and Pinballs is to get there early. The regular gaming section closes at six in the evening, so you’ve gotta go early before it one) closes and two) gets too packed to move. If you’re having a party or renting out a special area, you can extend the hours. Also, Sundays and evening game play can be scheduled via appointment, which is a great idea if you have a whole group of friends who wants to go.
