More of a public landmark than anything else, the Water Wall near the Galleria inside the West Loop is one of those “must see” places before you leave Houston (although why would you want to do that?). Built to serve as a reminder of indomitable spirit of Houston. It is a sight to behold.
Once there, you can read up on the history of the Water Wall, take pictures, or just sit and relax. Some people have lunch in or near the Water Wall, but Houston’s Finest are always on the patrol for littering, so be careful where you throw your wrappers.
The Water Wall is easy to get to, takes less time to walk to than most things in Houston, and is easily one of the most impressive sights in the entire city.

A landmark in Houston, the waterwall is one of those things you have to see before you leave the city. I walk by it every day on my way to work, and it never ceases to amaze me. Sometimes, after work, I will sit there and jsut let the running water sound relax me.
